LOUISA COUNTY, VA – (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Two people are dead after a head-on crash on Route 15 just south of Route 22 at approximately 4:05 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The initial investigation has revealed that a 2002 Mazda sedan, driven by Kenneth Justino Rowley, 36, of Louisa, Va., was traveling north on Route 15 when the sedan crossed the double solid yellow lines and struck a 2001 Toyota Corolla, driven by Wade Lee Dickenson, 63, of Gordonsville, Va., head-on.

Rowley was wearing his seatbelt and was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Dickinson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and succumbed to injuries at the scene of the crash. He had one front seat passenger, his son, Kaleb Reese Dickinson, 21. Kaleb Dickinson was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into this crash remains ongoing.
