HOWARDSVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Two people were hurt Sunday, with one medevacked, in a crash in Buckingham County near Howardsville. State Police report troopers were called around 2:30 p.m. Sunday to Howardsville and Logan roads about a mile southeast of Howardsville. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles crashed at the intersection with one overturned. The other had smashed into a nearby tree line. One driver was extracted from a vehicle quickly, the other took more work as they were stuck in their vehicle. The injuries are serious, but non-life threatening. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
