PINEHURST, NC (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – One current and two former Hoos have qualified for this weekend’s U.S. Open golf championship… and the three will actually play together the first two rounds. Pairings are out for the 124th U.S. Open at Pinehurst, North Carolina and current Hoos golf team member Ben James  — the only 2-time 1st team All-American in Hoos’ history — will play along with former Hoos Ben Kholes and Denny McCarthy. They’ll tee off on the 10th hold Thursday at 2:09pm, then Friday they’ll start at 8:24am on the 1st hole.
