CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Indivisible Charlottesville is holding what they express will be a peaceful Saturday protest against a Tesla showroom proposed at the Shops at Stonefield. Indivisible Charlottesville facilitator Dan Doernberg announces the Tesla Takedown rally will be from 1-to-2 Saturday afternoon at 2100 Hydraulic Road. The announcement says they’re protesting Elon Musk’s role “leading decimation of our federal infrastructure via DOGE, and the opening of Charlottesville’s first Tesla showroom”. Doernberg says “Musk gets most of his money from his ownership of Tesla, and organizers expect a large crowd to deliver the message that local residents don’t want Tesla” here.
