Susan Beard, 76, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away surrounded by family on September 30th, 2024 in Charlottesville, VA.
Sue was born on December 13, 1947 in Petersburg, VA and was the daughter of Thomas and Evelyn Styles. She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert Beard, and is survived by her sister Nancy Skelly and husband, Paul, nephew Peter Skelly and wife Jill, niece Caroline and husband Brian, nephew Thomas Skelly and wife Sarah.
Sue lived most of her life in Front Royal where she loved socializing with her many friends and neighbors. Sue loved gardening, camping with friends, supporting the Front Royal Cardinals for whom she and her husband hosted many players over the years, and enjoying the local wild life. Sue and Bob had many great adventures over the years as they traveled the world together.
