IVY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – State Police are investigating a crash on an I-64 off-ramp at Dick Woods Road that ended a pursuit. State Police say a trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop on 64 eastbound at mile marker 105 coming off Afton Mountain toward Crozet. Instead, the vehicle sped up leading to the chase.The pursuit continued until the driver took Exit 114 to Dick Woods Road, ran a stop sign, then struck another vehicle.

Both the driver and a passenger were taken into custody. No other information is available at this time.
