CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UPDATE 1:45pm: Eyewitness Mason Pickett drove by the scene shortly after 1pm and told WINA’s The Schilling Show the search appeared to center around a single Old Brook Road residence with about five people sitting on chairs outside. Pickett said they appeared to be in age from 30-to-50-years old and two or three of them appeared to be handcuffed. At that time, the military vehicle had left, but there were uniformed and plainclothes officers, some who had driven unmarked SUVs to the scene.

Another search warrant executed in Albemarle County. State Police is the lead agency on this one with a military-style vehicle closing Old Brook Road north of Rio from late morning into the afternoon… with heavy State and Albemarle Police presence. No information is available on the warrant at this time. CvilleRightNow will update as information becomes available.
