CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Force was with patients at UVA Health Children’s on Friday afternoon.
Emily Swallow, a UVA alumna and the Armorer on “The Mandalorian”—the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise—visited in costume along with Star Wars cosplayers from the 501st Legion.
Both heroes and villains were represented, ensuring there was balance to the Force.
Dressed in red body armor and a gold helmet, the Armorer leads a tribe of Mandalorian warriors, including the show’s title character.
A mysterious, patient, and intelligent character, the Armorer provides spiritual guidance for the clan and forges and repairs their armor.
