CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW) — Sentara Health has awarded the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA a $15,000 grant to assist with the expansion of its Compassionate Care Clinic. The money will be used to support CASPCA’s in-house and mobile low-cost veterinary clinic.
“We are incredibly grateful to Sentara Health for their generous support,” says Jasmyn Davila, Clinic Operations Manager of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. “This grant will allow us to broaden the reach of our Compassionate Care Clinic, ensuring that more pets receive the medical attention they need. By expanding our capabilities, we can better serve our community and promote the health and well-being of animals and their owners.”
Sentara’s commitment to creating healthier communities through partnerships with organizations is exemplified by this grant. By supporting the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA, Sentara is not only investing in the health of our pets, but also in the overall well-being of our community.
The mobile clinic, in particular, will enable CASPCA to reach underserved areas, providing vital veterinary services directly to those who may face barriers to accessing care.
