CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – No details at this time, but Charlottesville Police executed a search warrant last night in the 700 block of South First Street involving a suspect in an armed robbery. Police did not reveal to what incident this referred, though a couple of recent robberies were June 6 in Albemarle County at Peyton and Commonwealth Drive, and March robbery on Cherry Avenue in the city. They were there around 8 last night, and were asking the public at the time to steer clear during the investigation.
