Sandra “Sandy” Cameron Henry of Charlottesville, Va., went to be with our heavenly Father on January 16, 2024.

Sandy was born in Charlottesville to Bobby and Dora Cameron. She attended Charlottesville City Schools and graduated in 1976. She attended Mary Washington for two years and finished her nursing degree at PVCC. Sandy was a dedicated registered nurse at UVA Health for over 44 years, 21 years in labor and delivery, and 23 years at Northridge OBGYN. She received many awards throughout her career. She loved her job and her co-workers. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church for 50 years. She loved the holidays, the beach, and gardening.

Sandy is survived by her mother, Dora Hope Cameron; her husband of 41 years, Robert Rea Henry, Jr.; her two sons, Robert “Logan” Henry and his wife, Dana; Luke Cameron Henry and his wife Kaylie; and two beloved granddaughters, Callie and Emery Henry. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Cameron.
