FARMVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – State Police say one 17-year old juvenile is dead and two other people seriously hurt from a crash in Buckingham County Wednesday night about 5 miles north of Farmville. State Police report 20-year old Jaylin M. Gough of Farmville was driving a 1999 Acura RL westbound on Francisco Road around 8:35 Wednesday evening near Concord Mountain Road. The vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the left side of the road, and hit some trees. A 17-year old passenger and Gough were in the front seat not wearing seat belts and both were ejected. A 17-year old back seat passenger was also not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. The 17-year old front seat passenger died at the scene, and Gough and the 17-year old back-seat passenger suffered serious injuries. Charges are pending as the crash remains under investigation.
