CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Nelson County man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing early Sunday morning, according to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Department.
At approximately 1:56 a.m. Sunday, Nelson Co. deputies were dispatched to 4933 Crabtree Falls Hwy. “for a report of a male subject that had been stabbed with a knife,” the sheriff’s office reported.
“Upon arriving at the residence, deputies located a male subject that was bleeding from a laceration to his abdominal area, as well as a laceration to his back region,” the post said.
The victim was identified as Bryan Manual Carbahsl of 4933 Crabtree Falls Hwy who was transported to UVA with non-life threatening injuries.
“Upon further investigation, including the execution of multiple search warrants at this address, Nelson Co. deputies have arrested Jose Valazco Olvera of 4933 Crabtree Falls Hwy. in relation to this incident,” according to the post.
Olvera is being held at the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail on a malicious wounding charge without bond.
