CHARLOTTESVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. There are four drop-off locations Albemarle County open from 10:00 to 2:00: Albemarle Police Headquarters; Wegmans; and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital’s outpatient care center and Crozet Family Medicine, which are both accepting syringes and needles in puncture proof containers.

UVA Health is also doing a drive-thru from 10-to-2 at the UVA Health Education Resource Center at 1240 Lee Street, in addition to their year-round medication receptacles at 8 UVA Health outpatient pharmacies throughout the area.
