Mary Francis Riley Price, of Charlottesville, went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2024. Born April 10, 1928 at Castle Hill Farm, in northeastern Albemarle County. She is one of seven children born to Sidney Franklin Riley and Willie Ann Kirby Riley. At the young age of 96, she was the last and oldest of her generation.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Horace Earl Price; her parents; and her brothers and sisters, Otto Franklin Riley, Delsie Virginia Riley (Mawyer/Harrup), Frederick “Peter” Sidney Riley, Hawthorne “Nat” Winston Riley, Amelia Riley (Fox) and Ethel Maxine Riley (Phelps), to include all of their spouses. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her Step-Son Wayne Price formally of Waynesboro and several Nieces and Nephews.

She is survived by her Step-daughters, Deloris Ann Sacre of Louisa, Debra K. Hill of Scottsville and Robin Gale Dill of Jonesville, SC; several Nieces and Nephews, and most notably dear friends John and Bonnie Tyler and Anthony “Tony” and Lee Ann Tyler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont. The family greatly thanks them for their support over the last several years.
