Malcom Eugene Henderson departed this life on Wednesday morning, April 3, 2024, at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was born on August 23, 1957, the son of the late Malcolm Burton and the late Lucille Henderson. He was proceeded in death by his aunt Mary Henry Mosby.

He was educated in the Albemarle County School System, and he served in the U. S. Army Reserve for six years. He was employed by the Reaves Home for Adults in North Garden, VA for many years until his time of illness. Malcolm touched many lives with his genuine and caring personality. He will be greatly missed by many.

He was a life-long member of the Zion Baptist Church, North Garden, Virginia. During his young adult years, he was a member of the Young Adult Choir, as an adult he song on the Men’s Choir and the Adult Choir.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Rita Henderson, three brothers Calvin Henderson, Myron Burton, Stevie Burton. His stepmother Catherine Burton, two nephews, one niece, three great nieces, and a host of beloved cousins, relatives and friends.

He resided at the Cedars Healthcare Center in Charlottesville VA where he was well cared for and loved by staff and residents.
