Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Lifespring Pregnancy Center is dedicated to supporting women and families facing unplanned pregnancies, providing essential resources and compassionate care at no cost. During a recent interview with WINA Morning News, LifeSpring’s team—Associate Director Amanda Nelson, Director of Development Sarah Mayner, and volunteer Emma Truitt—highlighted the center’s mission to offer a comprehensive range of services, including pregnancy tests, STI testing, ultrasounds, and educational resources for parents and babies through their first two years. “We are a 5013 nonprofit Christian organization…that just kind of hits the surface of it,” Nelson explained, underscoring the breadth and purpose of their outreach.

In addition to meeting immediate needs, Lifespring aims to build lasting relationships with clients by providing essentials like diapers, formula, and baby clothing through a child’s early development. As Nelson emphasized, Lifespring’s nonjudgmental approach is core to their mission: “We educate for all of your options, and we give you the truth and the facts of all of your potions. Ultimately, it has to be up to her to make that decision.” This holistic support model includes post-abortion counseling, reinforcing Lifespring’s commitment to compassion and service beyond immediate assistance, fostering a lasting sense of community for families.
