Kathleen Collier Morris Hutchinson departed this life for her final destination on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She closed her eyes here and opened them up in the presence of the Lord. Kathleen was born on May 24, 1932 to the late George Wesley and Anna Laura Collier. She was also preceded in death by her infant sister, Frances Vernell, her sister Dorothy Collier Morris and her favorite brother, Otis Lee Collier.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Janett Collier Shifflett. She leaves behind her loving children, Phyllis Albright Birckhead, Curtis Leroy Morris (Kim) and Glenda Morris Jones (Bruce).

Kathleen also is survived by the loves of her life, her adored grandchildren, Stephanie Albright Fielding (Tony), Chad Dale Jones (Lindsey), Rusty Thomas Jones (Katie) and Kimberly Morris (Jason). She also leaves behind her precious great grandchildren, Peyton and Skylar Fielding, Mackayla, Landon and Lincoln Jones, and Liliana Wood. She will be missed by so many loving nieces and nephews. She treasured all of our family reunions, especially Thanksgiving.

Kathleen retired from Comdial after 30 years of dedicated service and was a faithful member of Nortonsville Church of God and an active member of our Seasoned Saints group. After retirement, she enjoyed her gardening and cooking for family and friends. She will be missed, and heaven just got a lot sweeter!
