CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Area residents are approaching a Wednesday deadline to submit answers to the 2025 JAUNT survey where they’re seeking input on current services with an eye on the future. JAUNT is a regional transit agency that provides curb-to-curb demand-response service beyond where CAT routes run in Charlottesville, as well as Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties. JAUNT also provides CONNECT service providing “fixed-route commuter service to UVA and downtown Charlottesville from Crozet, 29 North, Buckingham, and Lovingston”. It’s a very short survey asking about JAUNT’s reputation in a citizen’s experience and where one gets updates about JAUNT information and services. As an incentive to answer the survey, they’re giving away gift cards of $25 each to random responders. Click here for information and to access the survey.
