WILLIAMSBURG, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Saying it’s not that Republican Lt. Governor nominee John Reid is gay, but to save the ticket, James City County business consultant John Curran is running as a November write-in for Lt. Governor. He did attempt to get on the Republican primary ballot but failed to get the number of required signatures. Curran in a campaign video says he represents socially conservative values and is a successful business CEO who’s “pro-Trump, pro-business, pro-limited government, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage and pro-2nd Amendment”. Reid has come under fire for what he says is a false social media account of pornographic images attributed to him.
