Jacolby Robert Taylor 35, of Charlottesville, VA passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Albemarle Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on December 11, 1988, to Darnell Leach Taylor, and Connie Mallory, both of Charlottesville, VA.
Jacolby was a graduate of Monticello High School, class of 2007. After completing high school, Banking was his chosen career. He had a love for the finest fashion and foods. He loved driving to different destinations, traveling, family, friends, and his dog Blu. Jacolby had a million-watt smile that would light up any room he entered. He was truly loved and will be missed by so many.
Jacolby was proceeded in death by his uncles Calvin Mallory and James Taylor and his aunt Barbara Taylor.
He is survived by his Parents, Grandmother, Severa Mallory of Charlottesville, VA. Godparents, Ernest and Laura Brown of Charlottesville VA. Three brothers, Darnell Goo Taylor, Marcus Braxton and Jalen Darnell Taylor, all of Charlottesville, VA. One sister, Darnee Taylor (Robert Coles) of Charlottesville, VA. Four uncles, Roland Taylor (Michelle), Robert Mallory (Francine) and James Mallory, all of Charlottesville, VA, and Steven Mallory of West Virginia. Three Aunts, Paulette Taylor of Richmond, VA, Annie Brown (Irvin) and Rita Banks (Robert), all of Charlottesville, VA. Two nephews, Darnell A Taylor III and Sincere Taylor and one niece, Da’Niyah Wheeler, all of Charlottesville, VA. A wonderful step-mother, Priscilla Carter of Charlottesville, VA and her daughter Valarie Carter of Falls Church, VA. A life-time friend, Erica Chapman of Charlottesville VA. Also, a host of cousins and close friends.
