CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A year after announcing financial troubles, the IX Art Park Foundation says they’ve been able to turn things around “with a renewed vision for the future”. Foundation Executive Director Ewa Harr says it was last September they alerted the community of the park facing an uncertain future. Harr says there were some events put on without adequate underwriting, and they had to make some organizational changes in order to get back afloat.

The Foundation is now ready to do an ambitious fundraising campaign called “Phoenix Rising Together”. Signature events for 2024 with Mix at IX… Community Days and free admission made possible for The Looking Glass on Thursday by Flow Automotive… collaborative events such as Rainbow Disco Pride Parade… and the Farmers’ Markets have been successful.
