CHARLOTTESVILLE/ALBEMARLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) –Today marks the start of in-person voting for the June Dual Primary Elections. Early voting will continue until June 15th. Here’s what you need to know about casting an early ballot in person for residents of Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville.
Primary elections will be held June 18th.
Albemarle County Early Voting
The early voting hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday, June 8, 2024: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday, June 15, 2024: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
The 5th Street County Office Building, Room A at 1600 5th Street Extended is the designated early voting location for Albemarle County residents.

Early Voting in Charlottesville
The early voting hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday, June 8, 2024: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday, June 15, 2024: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
The location: Office of Voter Registration and Elections, located at City Hall Annex, 120 7th St. NE, Room 142.
