CHARLOTTESVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) –  A couple of days after Colorado Head Football Coach Deion Sanders accused UVA football of tampering, the Buffs leading rusher from last season, running back Isaiah Augustave has committed to the Cavaliers. One of the Colorado players shouted Augustave’s #23 when Sanders mentioned “I let you have one” after defensive back Carter Stoutmire spoke up after Sanders said “Carter got offered  bag”. 247 Sports reports on the day of that video, Augustave was visiting Charlottesville after entering the spring portal.

Augustave ran for 394 yards for Colorado last season after transferring there from Arkansas. His true freshman year with the Razorbacks, he ran for 202 yards. He becomes the 21st commitment Coach Tony Elliott’s staff has landed in the portal.
