CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Virginia will introduce new baseball coach Chris Pollard at press conference Wednesday at Disharoon Park, the school announced Monday.

The 3 p.m. event will be held in the field club and live streamed at VirginiaSports.com. Pollard has already been hard at work with Virginia Athletics posting a video of his entry into Disharoon, and already five players he coached at Duke and two recruits who had committed there have transferred and flipped respectively to Virginia. He also named Saturday the additions of assistant coaches Brady Kirkpatrick, Derek Simmons and Eric Tyler, along with John Natoli and Brian Sakowski as additional staff members.
