CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) –Governor Youngkin has appointed five new members to the University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors, bringing his appointees to 13 out of 17 members.

The new appointees are Albemarle resident and Health Data Services president Dan Brody, former coal mining executive Marvin Gilliam, Jr., University of Pittsburgh neurosurgeon Dr. David Okonkwo, Virginia Beach Capitol Markets Group vice chairman David Webb, and Smithsonian Institute Board of Regents chief of staff Porter Wilkinson.

Terms are expiring for current members Mark Bowles, Elizabeth Cranwell, Thomas DePasquale, Babur Lateef, and James Murray.
