Glenna Yolanda Mills, age 45, of Charlottesville, Virginia, departed this life on June 20, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Jesse W. Mills, Sr. and Berlinda Luck Mills.
Glenna began her education at B.F. Yancey Elementary School and graduated from Albemarle High School. She furthered her studies to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dedicating her career to helping others at Rosewood, Colonnade, and The Laurels Nursing Homes.

From an early age, Glenna accepted Christ and became a devoted member of New Green Mountain Baptist Church. She actively participated in the Choir and Usher Ministries, sharing her faith and joy through service and song.

Glenna was known for her immense heart and selfless nature. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, whether they were close friends or strangers. Her spirit of giving was truly boundless, often sacrificing her own time, money, and energy to support others.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Jesse W. Mills, Sr. and Berlinda L. Mills of Esmont, Va; two sons Zavier W. Mills (Ty-Lynn); Zavion Scott Mosby; one daughter, Zania L. Mills of Charlottesville Va; one grandson, Soren W. Mills; one brother, Jesse W. Mills, Jr., (Thavy) of Loudoun County; one sister, Nanyel A. Mills (Myrle) of Charlottesville, Va; maternal grandmother Nancy W. Luck of Esmont Va; two nieces Alexis C. Weidman of Charlottesville Va. and Mia Mills of Loudoun County; one nephew Michael D. Mills of Loudoun County Va. A special friend Walter Bradley III and a host aunts and uncles.

Glenna’s life was a testament to the power of love and generosity, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
