CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) The Charlottesville Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public with identifying individuals who may have information related to the Fourth of July shooting that injured five people, including two children, on Orangedale Ave.
Anyone able to identify the make or model of the vehicle, or any of the individuals in the photos, is asked to call Detective Arreguin at (434) 465-1478, or Crime Stoppers Tip Line at (434) 977-4000 to leave an anonymous tip.
At approximately 11:23 p.m. Friday, Charlottesville Police responded to reports of multiple gunshot victims on the 700 block of Orangedale Ave. The victims included a 52-year-old female, an 18-year-old female, a 17-year-old male, an 11-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, according to a statement from the department. All five were in stable condition as of Saturday morning.
Police believe there were multiple shooters.
