Albemarle County, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW):  Just before 8:00 AM on Tuesday morning, Albermarle County Fire Rescue evacuated a family of six from their Birchwood Drive home this morning amid heavy smoke emanating from the house’s laundry room.  Both career and volunteer members of ACFR helped in the efforts, and all six residents safely evacuated the fire with no injuries.  They are being supported by extended family members.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
