CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – An estimated 300 people gathered outside the Albemarle County Office Building on Monday evening for a demonstration organized by Indivisible Charlottesville.

The protest, held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., was organized in opposition to what organizers called an “unconstitutional power grab” by former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Participants stood along the sidewalk holding signs, with some emphasizing concerns about the rule of law.

Indivisible Charlottesville stated that the protest was open to all political affiliations.
