Ellen Marion Anderson, age 59, of Charlottesville, Va. passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer.

Born on March 30, 1964 in Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ. A graduate of Teaneck High School, Teaneck NJ and attended college at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. She worked as a package sorter at UPS and a night clerk at the Hilton Garden Inn in Charlottesville, Va. She was an accomplished pianist, a lover of animals and nature, and a fierce defender of both. She was a loving sister, aunt, and devoted friend, with an unwavering faith and a gentle, kind, and resilient spirit.

Survived by her sister, Janet Anderson-Hinojosa and brother-in-law, Simon Hinojosa; nieces, Gina Hinojosa and Brenda Hinojosa; nephew Adam Hinojosa; great nephew, Tobias Hinojosa; and beloved cats, Patches and Lucky.
