He was loving and affectionate, generous and supportive and always willing to put others first. He never failed to have something kind and encouraging to say to everyone regardless of the circumstances. He was a great story teller and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a man of deep faith, very active in his church and enjoyed the relationships nurtured at Hinton Avenue United Methodist Church. Throughout his life he enjoyed woodworking and gardening and was a master at fixing almost anything. Edward Harris Pittman’s light shone brightly and he made this world a better place. He will be dearly missed.
