“It’s bipartisan support,” Elberson noted, emphasizing that social media’s negative impact on students’ mental health is widely recognized. He also urged parents to extend these restrictions at home, advocating for a “top-down approach” to screen time, suggesting families review and reduce their weekly screen time together.
