CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – Three men are facing drug charges in Fluvanna County following a Friday traffic stop on Interstate 64.

Kameron Shearn, 34, of Yorktown, VA, and Corwin Baker, 39 of Chesterfield, VA, were both been charged with the manufacturing, sale, giving or distributing, or possessing with intent to manufacture, sell, give, or distribute a controlled substance, selling, giving, distributing, or possessing with intent to sell, give, or distribute marijuana, and possession of a firearm while in possession of certain controlled substances.

Christopher Edwards, 34, of Richmond, VA, was charged with manufacturing, sale, giving or distributing, or possessing with intent to manufacture, sell, give, or distribute a controlled substance and selling, giving, distributing, or possessing with intent to sell, give, or distribute marijuana.

The traffic stop yielded approximately 14 pounds of marijuana, approximately 2 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 136 concentrated THC vape cartridges, thousands of dollars in U.S. currently and two firearms.

Sheriff Eric B. Hess credited the 3A Task Force, the Virginia State Police, and the Albemarle County Police Department for their collaboration and professionalism. Hess also recognized the continued commitment of regional law enforcement partners in addressing the distribution of illegal narcotics within and through Fluvanna County.
