Charlottesville and UVA Police are among the heavy police presence at The Confederate Breast Works on the top of Shenandoah Mountain in Augusta County as that county’s sheriff’s department conducts a search for a missing person. Scott Wayne Fitzgerald from Mount Sidney was last seen Friday, May 16, at his residence.  His vehicle has been located at the overlook on top of the mountain on Route 250 just west of West Augusta. At this time, the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office along with Highland County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, and Charlottesville Police Department and University of Virginia Police Department are actively searching Shenandoah Mountain for Fitzgerald.
