CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — 24-year old Maxwell H Mandell of Crozet was arrested on Friday for sexually assaulting a child he had been babysitting, Albemarle County Police Department announced on Saturday morning.

Mandell was charged with felony aggravated sexual battery and felony indecent liberties with a child.

Following an investigation that began Thursday, he was arrested Friday is being held without bond at Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.

ACPD said Mandell had been offering babysitting services and music lessons, and investigators believe there may be additional vicitims. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the ACPD.
