CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville Police are looking for a second suspect in the June 14 Downtown Mall shooting where a 30-year old man was found shot in the leg in the 200 block of East Main Street during a dispute investigators say may have started inside Fitzroy. Police say they’re looking for 28-year old Tylek Wade Burley on charges of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and felon in possession of a firearm. Already charged in the incident is 34-year-old Lorenzo McAllister who was arrested and charged that morning with reckless, handling of a firearm, possession of a concealed firearm and discharging a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school.
This incident happened around 1:40 Saturday morning, nearly a week to the minute after a 1:26AM shooting June 7 that sent a 25-year old man to the hospital in critical condition. Police are still determining suspects in that shooting in the 200 block of 3rd Street NE. Detectives are pouring over numerous videos for clues in that incident.
