CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville Police have posted video captures of five males on Hardy Drive when gunfire resulted October 19 in 25-year old Albemarle resident Travis S. Houchens, Jr. being hit in the leg, as well as shots hitting an apartment building and car. All five arrived that night in what appears to be a stolen black Volvo SUV, and all exit toward a Westhaven playground where the victim and friends were located. The suspects then open fire on the group before running back to the stolen vehicle and fleeing the area. Anyone who can view the photos and offer information about the men is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
