CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville High School students are displaying creative and colorful art at CreatorHub downtown, inspired by leading-edge research at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
According to a UVA Health release, the students are participants in Magnify, a program that connects them with UVA scientists to spark their curiosity and foster connection.
“Students in the program learn about UVA’s research and visit UVA labs, gaining firsthand understanding of the scientific process and the people behind it,” the release explained.
This year’s Magnify Art Show – which is free and open to the public throughout the next week – features more than 40 new student pieces and highlights student art from previous years.
It also includes several works by UVA scientists.
The exhibition is at CreatorHub, on the ground floor of Vault Virginia, at 305 East Water Street.
