Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville is gearing up for one of its most anticipated events, the Brewers Ball, which will take place tonight, October 10th, at 7:00 PM at the Ting Pavilion. Described as “a very fun event, one of the biggest in Charlottesville,” the evening will feature live music from The Barons, top-tier local food and drink, and a chance to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF).
David Whitcomb, a board member of the CFF, shared the importance of the event: “We’re raising money for the CFF.” He highlighted his daughter’s remarkable progress, attributing their health to advancements in treatment: “It’s purely because of research that my daughter is healthy today.” The foundation plays a critical role in funding research for new medications and improving the lives of those with cystic fibrosis.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in auctions and hear testimonials from individuals impacted by cystic fibrosis, making it not only a fun evening but also a meaningful cause. Tickets are still available at the door, and proceeds will go toward advancing cystic fibrosis research and care.
