Charlottesville, VA (cvillerightnow.com): As is often the case in Summer League Baseball, The Charlottesville TomSox have announced some schedule changes for their upcoming contests as they look to turn their season around. They seek their fourth win of the season 12 games into the summer slate, having lost nine of their first contests.
Tonight’s 7:00pm first pitch against the Harrisonburg Turks at home, and tomorrow’s road tilt against the Waynesboro Generals at 7:00pm remain intact. However, due to the rain last weekend, there are games that need to be made up. Those headed to Culpepper on Saturday for the battle with the Cavaliers will be treated to some bonus Baseball. Game one of a doubleheader is set for 4:00pm, and the rained-out game from back on June 13th will be made up as a seven-inning twin bill.
An upcoming heat wave at the start of next week has also pushed back the yearly Bark in the Park game at CHO Airport Field back to 7:00pm.
Finally, the May 30th battle with those same Culpepper Cavaliers will be played on Monday at 7:00pm.
