CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – In order to more fully get the information out, Charlottesville Area Transit is changing the date for new route changes to November 9. The original date was the 26th of this month, but CAT says the new date allows the ETA Spot app to fully reflect the changes, “ensuring a seamless experience for our riders”. A release also clarifies the UVA Hospital stop on Route 6 will not be removed as part of the changes.
The changes improve frequency on route 4 and 6, includes The Center at Belvedere on Route 11, enacts new schedules on all routes and staggered connection times at the Downtown Transit Center, and installs the new collective bargaining agreement.
