CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – The road race, which begins at 7:15 a.m. at Scott Stadium, will impact multiple bus routes throughout the morning.

According to CAT, buses traveling through areas near the stadium, downtown Charlottesville, and adjacent neighborhoods may experience slower travel times and rerouting. Service disruptions are expected to last into the early afternoon until roads reopen following the race.

Riders with time-sensitive travel are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or seek alternate forms of transportation during the affected hours.

For real-time updates on impacted routes, CAT recommends visiting catchthecat.org.

This temporary adjustment is part of efforts to support the milestone community event, now in its 50th year.
