And Tuesday morning, history teacher Sally Duncan officially announced on the steps of the County Office Building her intention to run for the seat of retiring Jack Jouett Supervisor Diantha McKeel. The mother of five says as a renter for more than ten years, she has lived the housing crisis in Albemarle County and will prioritize housing policies.
Senior economist for the Center for the Advancement of a Steady State Economy has expressed his interest in running but has not filed yet filed papers.
