WILLIAMSBURG, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg returns for its 25th year, featuring two new haunted houses that expand its lineup to a total of five mazes. In addition, two new scare zones have been introduced to commemorate the event’s silver anniversary.

The two new haunted houses are “Clown Town” and “Monster Manor.” In “Clown Town,” brave park guests can explore a bizarre, nightmare dimension created by the exiled clowns of the Festa Italia village. According to the park’s website, it will resemble a “demented circus.” “Monster Manor” tells the story of a mad scientist who performs experiments on unwitting passersby, transforming them into monsters.

Each year, the park’s European-themed lands are transformed into various “Scare Zones” that complement the haunted house stories. The two new zones this year are “Stalker Street” and “The Bash.” On “Stalker Street,” residents of New France hide in their homes while murderous scarecrows roam the streets. “The Bash” celebrates the event’s 25-year history and features classic monsters from popular houses and scare zones from previous years.

Howl-O-Scream 2024 will run from September 6th through November 3rd, 2024, on weekends, Thursday through Sunday.
