CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — The Albemarle County Fire Rescue is once again holding a decoration contest to celebrate the Holiday season.
This is the third year ACFR has held this friendly competition, with Station 7, the Scottsville Volunteer Fire Department, winning both of the previous years. This year, 10 fire and rescue stations, including Scottsville, are participating, and community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite on Engage Albemarle website. Voting is open through midnight on Dec. 30, and the winner will be announced through ACFR’s social media accounts.
