CROZET, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A project in the works for years to alleviate some Crozet traffic tie-ups is a step closer to beginning… the county posting a draft Request for Proposal for Eastern Avenue Extension design services. This project will extend Eastern Avenue from Westhall Drive to Cory Farm Road and ultimately U.S. Route 250 (Rockfish Gap Turnpike) and includes a future bridge crossing over Lickinghole Creek. Albemarle County is announcing a technicality of releasing the draft RFP, which sets parameters for builders who want to bid on the project.

The documents, linked here, are available for public comment which will craft the final draft through which the bidding will start May 26.
