CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Albemarle County Police Department (ACPD) has arrested a man who was wanted on multiple shoplifting warrants and felony credit card theft.
ACPD officers located and arrested 36-year-old Brian C. Tichner, 36, of Dyke, Va. on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Tichner is a suspect in thefts at multiple big box stores within Albemarle County.
Tichner has been charged with felony credit card threat, shoplifting a petty larceny and is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
Additional charges are pending, as investigators believe Tichner may be a suspect in additional area thefts and shoplifting cases.
