CHARLOTTSVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville and Albemarle Police have set dates for next month for SafeWorship 2025. It’s Friday, May 16 from 8:30am-to-4pm at First Baptist Church at 735 Park Street. The departments say the free, day-long training will equip local house of worship and faith-based organizations to provide safe and secure environments to their congregations, visitors, and others as they gather together.

There is a registration deadline of May 13. However, participants are limited to the first 100 to register. Click here for registration and all the information.
