CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – For the second year in a row, Albemarle County Public Schools is offering local businesses a platform to inspire the future workforce by showcasing their trades to eager ninth-grade students. An Albemarle schools release says the division’s Pathway Exploration Day October 15th empowers students to explore a wide range of career opportunities, paving the way for their future success. For local businesses and organizations, this day provides a unique chance to ignite a passion for your industry, strengthen community ties, and cultivate future talent by hosting between 30 and 40 ninth-grade students for a tour of your business.
Participating businesses will host students for about two hours October 15th, from 10am-to-noon during which students will have the opportunity to observe what the day-to-day work looks like and what makes that industry special.
